With PD 100W power flow and video output up to 4K at 120Hz or 1080p at 240Hz, your gaming handhelds will charge up while being used and will look good on a TV or gaming monitor, too. Xbox Series X All Digital (White)

Microsoft's Xbox Series X now comes in White with 1TB of storage and no disc drive. (Image credit: Windows Central | Jez Corden)

Still the highest-end model in Microsoft's range of Xbox consoles, the Xbox Series X now comes in a white colorway with an upgrade to 1TB of storage but drops the disc drive. That means all of your games need to be purchased digitally, but the extra SSD space means less need to uninstall titles to make space for the latest AAA game.

Nevertheless, even without the disc drive, Executive Editor Jez Corden still praises the all-digital Edition in his recently updated Xbox Series X review: "Whether you grab the standard black Xbox Series X or go for the digital-only white Xbox Series X Digital Edition, it's a box that should still last you several years."

With the continued success of Xbox Game Pass, any newcomer to Microsoft's console will have instant access to a gigantic library of day-one releases with their subscription, including blockbuster hits like STALKER 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. I still use my day-one Xbox Series X in black practically every day, and I've never bought a single game on disc or even used a 4K UHD blu-ray movie with my console. Still, the option is there if you're a film buff and have a compatible 4K TV. — Ben Wilson, Senior Editor

Xbox Series S toaster with Xbox logo on bread

The Xbox Series S toaster looks like a console but is also a surprisingly nice toaster. (Image credit: Zac Bowden | Windows Central)

The Xbox Series S toaster is a fun little gadget that adds some gaming flair to a kitchen. It's priced to be a perfect Secret Santa gift or stocking stuffer (even if you're shopping for yourself. A discount on the Xbox Series S toaster makes it even more affordable.

The Xbox Series S toaster was inspired by memes about the look of Microsoft's more affordable current-gen console. Following in the footsteps of the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge and Xbox Compact Fridge, the Xbox Series S toaster leans on the playful side of the Xbox team.

While the Xbox Series S toaster is a playful nod to the unique design of the Xbox Series S, it's also a nice toaster. It has a self-centering bread guide and a bagel button to fit larger items. An LED light shows a countdown timer as well, so you know exactly when your food will be ready. An anti-jam function, automatic temperature control, and a removable crumb tray round out a solid spec sheet. Those are hardly exclusive features to the Xbox Series S toaster, but they ensure that the gadget is more than just a novelty or a toy.

The Xbox Series S toaster does have one exclusive feature, it can toast the Xbox logo onto a piece of bread.

Ok, let's talk controllers. Do you need a new Xbox controller? If you're a regular on this site, probably not, like many of us you are probably stacked. But there's always room for... just one more. Especially when the Black Friday sales are throwing out some absolute bangers like this Ghost Cipher Special Edition for only $42.75 at Lenovo. You'll need to use a discount code at checkout, and use it on the already reduced price to get another 5% — the code you need is EXTRAFIVE.

If you're not into messing around with codes, or you simply want a different color, then Walmart is the best place right now with pretty much every color, including both the Cipher controllers for $45.

Now if you just need a new controller, and for some crazy reason don't really care what it looks like, there are some ridiculously cheap deals right now on the basic black Xbox Series X|S controller, but the cheapest will require you to download an app. Woot, the Amazon outlet, is flogging standard Xbox controllers for only $35 if you purchase within the app thanks to a one-day-only 20% discount across the store. If you're on Apple, get the Woot app here, and here's the Android version.

The Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black special edition is not on sale, it's only just launched so of course it's not — BUT if you absolutely want one then Best Buy are throwing in a free $75 gift card with your purchase today. So if you're intent on buying a discless Xbox for $599.99, I implore you to at least head to Best Buy for it to get some extra value.

If I sound somewhat snarky, it's because I really dislike that this Xbox doesn't have a disc drive for price, but for those with wholly digital libraries it shouldn't be a deal breaker. If a disc drive is important though, a better value for you may be the standard Xbox Series X plus a 1TB WD_Black Expansion card for a rock bottom price of $99 at Amazon. However we are still waiting to see any decent deals on the Xbox Series S standard... watch this space! — Jennifer Young, Contributor.

Black Friday is a great time to get the cheapest deals on Xbox Game Pass, which is your one-stop shop for games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Stalker 2 and soon Indiana Jones just to name a small selection of the 100s of titles available in the Xbox Game Pass library. The absolutely best offer right now is 3 months worth for $27.99 at CD Keys, down from the normal price of $50.

That's for Game Pass Ultimate, which gives you access to the full library of games and day-one titles and gets you Xbox Cloud Gaming, which has just started rolling out the ability to play your owned games. The standard monthly subscription of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate jumped up to $20 a month recently, so buying a longer subscription like this through a legitimate reseller is a great way to shave off some of the cost. — Jennifer Young, Contributor.

Xbox games need a little more setup effort than on PC, but Turtle Beach still offers a winning option for flight sims. (Image credit: Ben Wilson | Windows Central)

It's no secret Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 needs a few post-launch patches before it's ready for sim enthusiasts to dive into some long-haul flights, but the 2020 release is still totally functional and works great with my favorite flight sticks. For Xbox gamers, I explained in my VelocityOne Flightstick review that Turtle Beach's joystick doubles up as a more varied joystick on PC, but it'll work with console titles with a few tweaks.

Luckily, it's on sale for $97.49 at Best Buy during Black Friday, and Amazon is price-matching the same deal. If you're already subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you can still jump into Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition (from 2020) and take your favorite aircraft to the skies with some real immersion. — Ben Wilson, Senior Editor

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 (Gen 3) headset review photographs

(Image credit: Windows Central | Jez Corden)

My absolute favorite headset of 2024 is currently on sale already at Amazon, which to me is absurd. I was planning to write a post today along the lines of "it's not actually on sale, but you should buy this anyway," only for Turtle Beach to swoop in and deny me the pleasure — while saving you 25% in the process.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 (Gen-3) is absolutely the KING of Xbox headset value, with best-in-class audio, multiplatform versatility, maximum comfort, and Bluetooth mixing capabilities on top. This is simply a sublime headset that I absolutely cannot recommend enough, and now it's on sale for half the price of worse-sounding competitors. However Turtle Beach managed to put this together is a mystery, but I'm not complaining. If you're using an older headset and want to upgrade, make it this one, above all others.

Of all the Xbox accessories I review throughout the year, the one I've tested the most in 2024 is mobile controllers. You might be wondering what they have to do with Xbox — well, Xbox Cloud Gaming, of course! It's gotten even better recently, especially with the ability to bring your own games into the mix. As a subscriber to Nvidia GeForce Now, I’ve also been using mobile controllers for games like Baldur's Gate 3, which was an absolute treat on that platform.

My top pick from all the controllers I’ve tested is the GameSir G8 Plus, or its sibling, the G8 Galileo. The main difference between the two is the connection type: the G8 Plus uses Bluetooth, making it perfect for larger or foldable phones, while the G8 Galileo connects via USB-C, so you never have to worry about charging it. Both controllers are incredibly comfortable, with the crucial hall-effect sticks that ensure durability — meaning once you buy one, it’ll last you a lifetime. After all, who wants to buy multiple mobile controllers? — Jennifer Young, Contributor.

I'm actually a tad annoyed at this one, as this sale price is only a smidge more than what I paid for half the amount of storage. Yes it's another Xbox expansion card, but it's my preferred choice, the WD_Black 1TB. Right now it's only $99 down from $157.99 so you're saving 37% off retail price which is a considerable discount for this much storage. It's actually a whole $30 cheaper than the same amount from Seagate and does exactly the same job. Of course the expansion cards like this and the Seagate aren't the absolute cheapest way to get more storage, but they are the only way you can play your Xbox Series S|X games directly, without any shifting around. Since I got mine I wouldn't be without it, I just wish I'd actually got the full 1TB that you can right now! — Jennifer Young, Contributor.

Okay, this one isn't even a Black Friday deal, but I'd be remiss not to show it to all the Xbox fans going shopping for new accessories this holiday season (and all the friends and family members buying for a superfan, too). 8BitDo just announced an Xbox keyboard and mouse that's an ode to the OG Xbox, and while they're not actually compatible with Xbox consoles, you can still use the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard and Retro R8 Mouse with a Windows PC that you play Xbox games on with Xbox Play Anywhere, PC Game Pass, or Xbox Cloud Gaming (don't forget that Microsoft puts many Xbox Game Studios titles on platforms like Steam and the Epic Games Store, also).

Both the keyboard and mouse are strongly inspired by the design of the original Xbox console, complete with a transparent green chassis and RGB lighting that gives me a wave of nostalgia for the classic Xbox startup screen. You're also getting Kailh Jellyfish X switches, arrow keys (keyboard) and side buttons (mouse) that match the colors of Xbox's ABXY controller buttons, and even a dedicated Xbox button that opens the Xbox Game Bar software just like the one on controllers does.

What 8BitDo has created here are some absolute works of art, and notably, they're available to preorder now. The keyboard is $119.99 at Amazon while the mouse is $59.99 at 8BitDo, and both are scheduled to ship on January 16. — Brendan Lowry, Contributor

Lenovo Legion Go

(Image credit: Windows Central | Jez Corden)

"THIS IS AN XBOX," Microsoft says. Nothing typifies that statement more than the main Z1 Extreme gaming handhelds: The Lenovo Legion Go and ASUS ROG Ally. Both of them are on sale right now, but which one is right for you?

  • ASUS ROG Ally X: Z1 Extreme, 1 TB storage, 1.5-3 hours battery life, 24GB RAM, 7-inch screen with VRR. (20% OFF: $699 at Best Buy).
  • ASUS ROG Ally: Z1 Extreme, 512 GB storage, 1-2 hours battery life, 16 GB RAM, 7-inch screen with VRR. (20% OFF: $499 at Best Buy).
  • Lenovo Legion Go: Z1 Extreme, 512 GB storage, 1-2 hours battery life, 16 GB RAM, 8.8-inch screen without VRR. (30% OFF: $472.99 at Amazon)

The main differences here revolve around the display and ergonomics. The ASUS ROG Ally (and it's slightly beefier X cousin) both sport the same Z1 Extreme chip, delivering similar performance between both devices. However, this is a laptop chip in essence. Some games can have performance issues if you push it too hard, which is why the variable refresh rates on the ASUS ROG Ally can help keep frames smooth even on the most intensive, least-optimized modern AAA 3D games. The downside is that the screen is tiny. Most games are optimized for monitors and television sets, meaning that the text and UI elements can appear really tiny on the ASUS ROG Ally. The Lenovo Legion Go by comparison has a much larger display, up to 8.8 inches, and I prefer that personally.

The downside of that of course, is that the 8.8 inch screen makes the Lenovo Legion Go quite bulky. It also has a kick stand, detachable sticks, an extra USB-C port, and a trackpad too, though. That extra bulk is used quite well, making it a more versatile option than the pure gaming chops of the ASUS ROG Ally.

So the rule of thumb is, if you want something large and versatile that could essentially function as a travel laptop with a Bluetooth keyboard attached, the Lenovo Legion Go is a better pick. If you want a pure portable gaming device, the ASUS ROG Ally is a better pick, owing to its lighter weight and VRR display. Either way, both are on sale at the links above, saving you a ton of cash.

The Logitech G920 has stood the test of time and is still a superb wheel for Xbox racers.

I first reviewed the Logitech G920 racing wheel for Xbox and PC way back in 2016. More than 8 years ago. Ordinarily, something that old in tech wouldn't be worth your time. The G920 isn't ordinary, though. To this day, it's still the absolute best budget racing wheel money can buy, and the first thing I recommend when anyone asks me what they should get.

I've used a lot of wheels in the years since, many more advanced than the G920. But what this wheel does, is offer an affordable entry point into wheel-based racing on Xbox, and it does it with quality and style. This thing won't fall apart, it's comfortable to use, the force feedback is excellent despite its age, it's just the business. When it's under $190 for the wheel and pedals, it really is a no-brainer, even after all these years. — Richard Devine

The LG C4 stands tall as one of if not the best TV for gamers. (Image credit: Future)

Getting a fancy new 4K-capable Xbox Series X console or top-notch PC gaming rig means nothing if you don't pair it with a nice screen, but thankfully, you can pick up what is undoubtedly one of the best TVs for Xbox and gaming for less this Black Friday. Right now, the excellent 42-inch LG C4 is $100 off, with the discount knocking the ~$1,000 panel down to just $896.99 at Newegg.

Our friends over at What Hi-Fi wrote in their review that the LG C4 "is the best small OLED TV money can buy right now. Though its audio isn't the best, it delivers a wonderfully punchy, immersive viewing experience despite its small form factor, with noticeably higher peak brightness than its older rivals." It was awarded a perfect 5/5 score, and is a fantastic gaming TV thanks to 4K/144Hz support, variable refresh rate (VRR), auto low-latency mode (ALLM), Dolby Vision game mode, HDR Gaming Interest Group (HGIG), and quad HDMI 2.1 ports. — Brendan Lowry, Contributor

Did you know that one of this year's best Xbox Black Friday deals doesn't even involve spending money on anything Xbox-related at all? For a limited time, you can get a free Xbox Series S console when signing up for a 1 Gig or 2 Gig plan of Verizon Fios internet. Alternatively, you can also choose an Xbox gaming bundle with an Xbox Wireless Controller, an Xbox Stereo Headset, and a $50 Xbox gift card you can use on games or an Xbox Game Pass subscription (you have the option of a 12-month subscription to Netflix and Max, as well).

The cheapest way to take advantage of Verizon's offer is to get a $64.99/month 1 Gig plan that gives you up to 940 Mbps speed, though you can also do so by spending 84.99/month on a 2 Gig one and speeds of up to 2.3 Gbps. Both plans include 12 months of Vix streaming as well, along with a 4-year price guarantee.

My colleague Sean Endicott says his family "were among the first Verizon Fios customers back in the day" and that he's "used Fios for years," noting that "the service is fast, easy to use, and has received high reviews from several outlets." In other words, in addition to getting a free Xbox Series S or a bundle of useful Xbox accessories, you'll also be enjoying some excellent internet. — Brendan Lowry, Contributor

Recently, Microsoft released its "This is an Xbox" campaign, highlighting the fact that you can enjoy various Xbox services whether or not you're actually playing on an Xbox. In this way, you could say that the Meta Quest 3S is an Xbox.

Meta Quest is the leading VR gaming company on the market and this latest Black Friday (and potentially Cyber Monday) deal bundle focuses more on the Xbox playing experience. Not only do you get the free Meta Quest 3 exclusive game Batman: Arkham Shadow with this bundle, but you basically also get a free Xbox Series X controller and 3-months Xbox Game Pass.

You didn't think the deals would suddenly disappear just because it's Saturday, did you? Of course you didn't. You've seen this same trend every year just like I have, and Cyber Monday has become the new hotness for extended Black Friday discounts, at least while stocks last. Luckily, it doesn't seem like CD Keys is in any danger of selling out of its discounted Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions any time soon.

TL;DR: Game Pass Ultimate is still super cheap, and you'll get instant access to blockbuster games like STALKER 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Xbox AND your PC, with a wealth of Cloud Gaming titles ready to stream from practically any device that can run a web browser. — Ben Wilson, Senior Editor

Unfortunately, that deal has now gone out of stock as it proved popular, and the Ghost variation has even ran out at Walmart, but you can still grab both colors at Amazon who still have some left.

These are both gorgeous for any collection, and with them being pretty new to the range if you are gifting an Xbox gamer it's unlikely they will have these yet. Grab either color from Amazon for only $45. — Jennifer Young, Contributor.

I've actually grabbed this deal for myself, or rather the kids, who love blowing Minecoins in the Minecraft marketplace. I've lost count of the amount of amazing maps we've played over the past few weeks, from theme parks to construction sites, and even maps with speedboats. Some of the community creations are fantastic and we get many hours of playtime out of them, so while succumbing to the microtransaction madness can be painful, it's a little less so when you can get a discount at CDKeys. — Jennifer Young, Contributor.

While putting together the ultimate gift guide for gamers, I stumbled upon a standout deal worth sharing: PowerA’s first-ever wireless controller for Xbox, a premium entry into their lineup that I’m currently testing for an upcoming review. Despite its eye-watering price tag, it’s already on sale—and it's definitely a show stopper.

Not only does it boast customizable lighting effects, but it also comes with a magnetic charging stand, which give it a lux feel. On the performance side, it includes pro features like trigger stops, rear buttons, and hall effect sticks. What sets this controller apart, though, is its unique adjustable stick height via a twist mechanism, exclusive to the Fusion series.

It’s a genuine surprise to see such a new controller discounted already, making it a must-consider for this year’s holiday haul. — Jennifer Young, Contributor.

Xbox Series S Toaster

The Xbox Series S toaster is just brilliant. There's not much more to be said. (Image credit: Xbox/Walmart)

Microsoft leaning into the kitchen appliance memes for this generation of consoles and actually making real products was a stroke of genius. Following the Xbox Series X mini fridge was the Series S toaster, and frankly, every kitchen should have one.

Ever since I got mine, my kids have been obsessed with making sure I make Xbox toast as often as possible versus boring regular toast. I mean, it puts the Xbox logo on the bread, that immediately makes breakfast at least a thousand times better. — Richard Devine

ROG Ally X vs ROG Ally displays.Windows Central Best Award

ASUS ROG Ally and ROG Ally X are powerful gaming handhelds that are perfect for playing Xbox Game Pass games. (Image credit: Rebecca Spear / Windows Central)

One of my absolute favorite ways to enjoy Xbox Game Pass is on my ROG Ally and now the newer ROG Ally X. These highly portable devices travel with me when I am on a road trip, in an airplane, or staying at a hotel. I love that I can entertain myself so easily and play my favorite games wherever I am.

Even at home, just about every night, I end up playing a game while sitting comfortably on my couch or cozy in bed. The device is well-balanced, and the buttons and joysticks work really nicely.

Some people prefer Steam Deck or Legion Go, but ROG Ally is the best, in my opinion. It has a more powerful processor than Valve's handheld, and although it has the same Z1 Extreme chip as the Legion Go, ROG Ally supports VRR (which Legion Go doesn't), so games typically play smoother on ASUS's devices. — Rebecca Spear

Turtle Beach Recon Xbox controllerWindows Central Recommended Award

Recon's primary feature happens to be my favorite: audio EQ options with Superhuman Hearing mode. (Image credit: Ben Wilson | Windows Central)

Oh, I know this one! It's the controller I became weirdly obsessed with for months! Yeah, it's strange for Turtle Beach to name a controller after its Recon range when it's so associated with headsets, but there's a reason for it. A collection of audio EQ profiles is built into this wired controller, and it includes 'Superhuman Hearing' to enhance quieter sounds, similar to how dynamic range modes affect footsteps in games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. My favorite, and somewhat secret, appeal of the Turtle Beach Recon is it can turn an ultra-budget wired headset into something better just by connecting it to the 3.5mm jack port and using the EQ profiles built into the controller instead.

As a controller, it's above average but nothing groundbreaking, and you'll certainly feel the difference in its face buttons and triggers if you've used $100 controllers before. Nevertheless, I beat a few single-player games with the Superhuman Hearing mode activated, like Metro: Exodus, and it made simple background sounds like heavy rain and distant gunshots sound incredible. For $30, this is an absolute steal, and I stand by everything I said in my Turtle Beach Recon controller review back in 2022.

KYY Portable Monitor

You may be wondering why I'm including a portable monitor in a list of options for Xbox users. Well, I've found that having a portable monitor like this has become increasingly useful in a post Lenovo Legion Go / ASUS ROG Ally universe, not to mention Xbox Cloud Gaming itself.

If you grab a monitor like this KYY Portable Monitor @ 1080p, you can enable all sorts of useful scenarios. I picked up two of these, one for my parents' place and one for my office at my girlfriend's place. I use it as a second monitor with my laptop, perching it on a cheap tablet stand for the most part. However, it's also useful to connect Xbox Series S consoles up directly. It has mini-HDMI ports to that end, and also supports USB-C, Thunderbolt 3 for power delivery and picture data, and has an incredibly light weight.

Razer Kishi V2

Xbox Cloud Gaming might have been removed as an app on Android (and banned on iOS), but you can still get it on Xbox.com/play. (Image credit: Future)

Xbox Cloud Gaming is available only via Xbox.com/play on Android and iOS, but it works incredibly well despite being a web app only. The downside is that for most of the games, you need an attached Xbox-certified controller to play most of the games. That's where devices like the Razer Kishi V2 come in.

Connecting to popular Android devices via USB-C (with an iOS version as well), the Kishi V2 seamlessly adds "handheld" style capabilities to your handset, all without the added latency of Bluetooth. For Cyber Monday, it's currently enjoying a tidy sale.

One of the greatest games of 2024 is on sale for Cyber Monday / Black Friday, giving physical Xbox disc collectors an option to expand their collection for a bit less right now.

Space Marine 2 is a Warhammer 40K title, taking place after the events of the original which launches on the Xbox 360. The Tyranids are bringing their insatiable destructive swarms onto Imperium settled worlds. Fight through mountains of enemies across all sorts of environments with some of the most spectacularly violent co-op gameplay of 2024.

Image of the GameSir G7 SE Wired Controller.

(Image credit: Windows Central | Zachary Boddy)

If you want a "Player 2" controller that doesn't actually suck, consider the GameSir G7 wired option. This is easily my favorite "value" controller, and something I regularly use with my own Xbox and also docked with my Lenovo Legion Go.

I found myself using this controller over my Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 recently. Why? Because it has Hall Effect joysticks. STALKER 2 had a bug (now fixed) that gave it overly sensitive deadzones. That means that on analog sticks like the standard Xbox controllers, the camera would shift by itself. More and more controllers are switching to "Hall Effect" sticks instead, which uses magnets to detect positions instead. These controllers are immune to drift, making them good options for those who are concerned about longevity.

This controller is fantastic for a variety of other reasons too. It has a huge, long braided cable that will span even large living rooms. It has a very lightweight, ergonomic design, and it has a truly amazing price. With Cyber Monday, it's also a bit cheaper too.

Razer Blackshark V2

An impressively affordable wired Xbox headset is even cheaper for Cyber Monday. (Image credit: Windows Central)

When we talk about Xbox headsets, we often focus on the higher-end, with headsets that cost up to and over $100. But what if you don't want to spend crazy money? Well, that's where Razer has your back.

The Razer BlackShark V2 X is an Xbox-branded version of its BlackShark headset range, offering solid 3.5mm audio in an affordable, albeit no-frills package. While this headset won't blow your mind like a higher-end option might, it is respectable, and even impressive at its price tier. For Cyber Monday, it's even cheaper, too.

It has premium materials and a lightweight, yet reassuring construction, 50mm drivers that deliver solid sound, and a decent cardioid pattern mic that does the job. For Cyber Monday, its down 30% over its typical ask, making it perhaps the most affordable "actually good" headset to buy this sales season.

This is your regular reminder to pair your Xbox Series X|S console with an expansion card. We've covered the WD_BLACK version a little earlier, but the venerable veteran from Seagate is also discounted into Cyber Monday. The price now for the 2TB card is actually less than I originally paid for 1TB way back when they first arrived.

I don't have buyer's remorse, though. Even back then it was invaluable to me, and games sure haven't got any smaller in the last few years. Unfortunately for my wallet, though, my kid now decided he needs one! — Richard Devine

An image of an open ROG Ally and a finger removing the SSD.

Installing a better WD_BLACK SN770M SSD into an ROG Ally or Steam Deck is not only easy to do but improves the handheld's SSD read and write speeds. (Image credit: Rebecca Spear / Windows Central)

If you're one of the many people who own a Steam Deck or ROG Ally (or have just gotten one for the holidays), then I highly recommend upgrading the SSD to the discounted WD_BLACK SN770M. The original ROG Ally only has a 512GB SSD, while the Steam Deck can have a 64GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB SSD. Meanwhile, the WD_BLACK SN770M is available in both 1TB and 2TB capacities, so it can give you room for a ton more games. What's more, the installation process is incredibly easy on Steam Deck and ROG Ally.

I actually swapped out my ROG Ally's 512GB SSD for the 2TB WD_BLACK one and later upgraded my Steam Deck's 64GB SSD to the 2TB WD_BLACK as well. Since then, both of my devices have way more room for the Xbox Game Pass games I install locally on my device. Plus, this SSD offers faster transfer speeds than the original SSDs, which means my handhelds now have faster loading and saving times.

Xbox Series X retro wrap

Make your Xbox Series X retro-fied. (Image credit: WOLIBEAR)

Want to make your Xbox Series X look stealth-mode? Microsoft put out some custom magnetic wraps for its Xbox Series X console a short while ago, letting you change the style of your console without forking out for one of the various premium versions.

All these wraps do is basically literally wrap around your console, and fasten with a magnetic strip that is easy to release and remove. No set up is required, and they don't impact the airflow of your device, nor its temperature. Microsoft hasn't really made many options though annoyingly, but Wolibear has come in with some of its own designs, all of which are on sale for Cyber Monday. Be sure to take a look.

I wasn't sold on the Xbox Series X 1TB White when it was first announced, but seeing it in the flesh at Gamescom 2024 changed my mind, it's actually pretty stunning. Of course, we've also now had the benefit of a full hands on with the Xbox Series X all digital and it's every bit as impressive as the OG with it's disc drive. If a digital library is where you're headed in your gaming habits, I'd seriously consider this deal at Best Buy which is shaving off $50, unfortunately, the Lenovo deal we posted this morning went back in up in price — Jennifer Young, Contributor.

The JSAUX 6-in-1 Multifunctional Docking Station was built specifically with larger gaming handhelds like Legion Go and ROG Ally X in mind. (Image credit: Rebecca Spear / Windows Central)

If you've picked up a Lenovo Legion Go or an ROG Ally X this Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or holiday shopping season, then I highly recommend buying the JSAUX 6-in-1 Multifunctional Docking Station. Many other handheld docks on the market don't have a cable that's long enough to plug into the Ally X or Legion Go ports. What's more, many docks don't have a base that's large enough to hold these bigger devices. However, these aren't problems with the JSAUX dock.

I've been using this docking station since July, and it's made it far easier for me to connect my handhelds to either my TV or gaming monitor (depending on my mood). If you plan on doing the same, then this is the dock to get. — Rebecca Spear, Gaming Editor
